My Bug is five and I'm all about it.

My Bug is five and I'm all about it.

April 10th, 2015 I became a mama. I, like many, had the dream of an intervention free labor dashed (or should I say slashed? tee hee) after a couple of days of a labor and some really scary dips in heart rate. But LOOK at the enthusiasm he's displaying up his eventual entrance? Classic.

What followed was a time filled with many mixed emotions, and I know many moms can relate. The baby stages were super hard for me. I had a pretty intense postpartum depression and it SUCKED. I eventually got help, including medication, and was able to feel like the new version of myself. Please reach out to someone if you are worried you might be  experiencing postpartum depression, and remember, it can technically hit up to 2 years after the birth.

Anyhoo, this kid was an adorable and hilarious baby nugget, but he's growing up to be the most adorable and hilarious little kid nugget, and I'm totally here for it. I mean, he does wipe his own butt now, so things are definitely looking up.

Be well.
